Base Stations
Wavion WBS is a family of a carrier class, broadband wireless beamforming base stations that provide superior coverage and greater capacity.

• WBS-2400 Omni-directional base station with 6 antenna array operating in 2.4 GHz
• WBS-2400 Sector Directional base station with 3 antenna array in 120° sector operating in 2.4 GHz
• WBS-5800 Omni-directional base station with 6 antennas array operating in 5.8 GHz
• WBS-5800 Sector Directional base station with 3 antenna array in 120° sector operating in 5.8 GHz

CPEs and Wi-Fi clients
Wavion base stations are interoperable with any 802.11x standard CPE. Wavion has certified specific CPE models in order to optimally meet the requirements of different applications:

• Mobile Wi-Fi clients such as those embedded in laptops and smart phones.
• Outdoor CPEs used by high-end and business users, which require high throughput and a coverage area of several kilometers. These CPEs usually require professional outdoor installation.
• Indoor CPEs with targeted for business and residential indoor applications. These “plug and play” CPEs are easy to install by non-technical users.

Wavion Coverage Tool
Wavion Coverage Tool (WCT) enables service providers to perform instantaneous field tests of the Wavion WBS base stations coverage in real-life conditions.

WavioNet - NMS
Wavion’s network management system (WavioNet) is a comprehensive, carrier-grade tool enabling operators to effectively control and monitor their Wi-Fi network. WavioNet provides support for various network operation aspects and allows network managers to carry out day to day monitoring and control activities as well as plan network expansion.

Backhaul
Wavion provides two complementary solutions for backhaul in response to our customers’ requirements:

• Self Backhaul - The WBS-2400 can provide self-backhaul functionality with exceptional performance, utilizing its spatially adaptive beamforming at both ends. Wavion is able to deliver backhaul from one WBS-2400 to up to 4 additional units.
• External backhaul - Where dedicated high capacity and range backhaul connections are required, Wavion provides dual frequency backhaul solutions with directional antennas in the 5.x GHz band.

Billing and Provisioning
Wavion provides a billing and provisioning solution Wavion Service-Pro, which includes the access controller and the RADIUS server with a variety of capabilities to suit different applications. This allows service operators to define and manage their SLAs (service level agreements) and control the packages that they sell to end users.
